Springwater occupies a site on the High Street in Starbeck. Security of the site and safety of the students is assured through the use of suitable security grade fencing and all external doors are controlled by a centrally managed Paxton door access system.

Some of our Specialist facilities include: a fully functioning sensory and interaction rooms along with a seperate sensory room for our EYFS students.

A 25 sqm pool with changing and hoisting facilities enabling access for all students. 

A  trampoline enables all students to experience the freedom this piece of equipment brings.

We also operate a fully air-conditioned, minibus with a tail lift to facilitate student educational visits.

We are in the process of developing plans for further development of the site which are due to be in place by late 2018.

Below are samples of equipment in the new Sensory and Interaction rooms created with the aid of Variety, the childrens charity and businesses who offer their support. 

Infinity mirror and bubble wall are just a small sample of equipment in the sensory integration room. Other equipment includes bubble tube, fibre optic curtain, vibro bed, projection facilities enabling video/sound to be integrated with equipment throughout the room.
