Who we are
We are the Harrogate Hub for Personalised Learning Pathways (PLP) based at 68A the High Street, Starbeck.
We are part of a Local Authority initiative working to develop bespoke educational packages for pupils with special needs aged 19 to 25. We can provide the support required to enable young people to access learning in their local communities to develop the skills required to lead fulfilling adult lives.
We develop and coordinate individualised programmes of study to support young people with additional needs in their transition into adult life. We work closely with Health and Adult Services, Supported Employment, Specialist Careers Advisors, Colleges and many other local providers. This partnership working enables us to create a holistic approach and a truly flexible programme, that helps our young people to achieve their desired outcomes.

Personalised learning is led by a teacher with 21 years experience in mainstream, special education and adult supported learning. The teacher is assisted by a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) who has worked in special education for over 15 years
